you'll never believe it

so we had to give 5200 dirhams to mitsubishi in order to get our car today (for insurance and registration stuff). serge had forgotten to give me the bank card to get the money out, so he calls me and says, "you need to find a way to get that money." (not weird.)

turns out he asked lewellyn to call the banker who opened our account (and the accounts for the chocolate company). of course, he can't release money to me without a signature from serge. what does he do? asks me to come to the bank because he's going to loan me HIS OWN MONEY so that i can get the stuff done for the car.

is that insane? soooo nice. and we're paying him back tomorrow. unreal.
