home delivery

this morning, the doorbell rang. it was brothers gaz. we have a gas stove here (as do many people), only there are no natural gas lines to run into the homes. so everyone has containers of gas (like for a grill, but bigger) that sit outside of the kitchen in our case, and run in through a line. sometimes you just run out of gas. the guy thought i had called this morning (i didn't understand at first, but he explained how it worked), which is why he came to replace my container. when i told him i had gas, he realized it was the people upstairs who had called, not me. 

apparently, whenever you run out of gas, you call them up and like 24/7 basically, they will come and change it. 

water delivery (the bigger containers like 1 or 5 gallons) is another story. i tried calling a supplier today and understood absolutely nothing about the whole thing. i'm going to try again tomorrow and see if water shows up at our house. let's hope so.
