the rules about finding stuff you want to buy

serge told me and i will admit, i didn't really believe him until i witnessed with my own eyes. when you see something in the store that you want/need/like, you need to buy it immediately. because the VERY NEXT DAY, even though there could be a plethora of said item on the shelf, it could be gone.

i saw ecover laundry detergent at spinneys (english supermarket chain) the other day and said, "oh, i'll come back and get this when we get our washing machine hooked up." i like to use non-perfumed stuff and that was the only brand i could find sans. we go to the al hamra mall (beautiful middle eastern architecture / decoration - not finished yet, of course) where spinneys is located. would you know they have NOTHING on the shelf anymore? who knew the stuff would be flying off the shelves? but i did find some other method products i like, which is good (and grabbed them while they were there).

i suppose that was my payback for the other day - i had been looking forever for baking soda and hydrogen peroxide with no luck. found baking soda at safeer and then finally after 6 days of checking carrefour, found the hydrogen peroxide yesterday.

the moral of the story - buy buy buy and don't wait or it's liquidation totale!
