grand hyatt

we went to the grand hyatt for lunch yesterday (saturday) with serge's friend jocelyne. she is the assistant pastry chef there, so we got the VIP treatment, which is always a plus.

on the way of course, we got lost, but miraculously managed to find it without being more than 5 minutes late. julian enjoyed the lobby garden (and water feature, including tons of fish) and lunch. i think he enjoyed the dessert more, as he was given a huge plate of marshmallows, gummy sour hearts and little pieces of chocolate (like m&m's) that look like rocks. top it off with some carrot apple juice, and the kid was wired.

we didn't really do much of anything else, but it's always a pleasure to see friends!
