that doctor at RAK hospital is awesome. so thorough, so nice. i feel like had i gone to my internist in the US, i would have been treated like a hypochondriac for wasting her time. (for the record - this is the same doctor who recommended vitamins with an 800-number for ordering - turns out she gets kickbacks each time you order. for the record #2 - this doctor is in no way related to or even remotely the same person as my OB/GYN who i think is probably the MOST AMAZING DOCTOR on earth. her name is dr. winsome parchment and she is AWESOME. i would never ever say anything bad about her, because she rules.)
he gave me a copy of my bloodwork (shocker) and then actually explained everything (not in nauseating detail, but so that i understood what was done and what it meant). i had/have a virus and just need to wait for it to pass. although he did say, "be sure to come back for observation before the end of 1 week." when i asked why 1 week, he said, "because within 7 days, the follow ups are free." with a smile. so nice!
so after plenty of rest (i tried, hard during the day with julian!), fluids and some french fizzy tablets, i feel much better. and sorry to the WHRHS peeps who tried calling me 2 more times yesterday - i passed out and serge didn't have the heart to wake me up.
