abandoned child

so last night after we left, we were told that julian had some moments. he wandered from room to room calling "dada?" and looking for us (well, his father, screw mommy). it took him a while to settle down, but he didn't freak out completely.

today, after kindermusik, sara invited me to lunch at the golf club and said that julian could stay at her house with her nanny and the two kids. seemed like everything was fine until we got a call from annalise that julian was freaking out. turns out the kid cried for 45 minutes and was calling for me and looking in all the rooms to find me. how sad! and he would get his shoes and try to go outside so that he could find me and go home. poor thing! i feel so bad, but it's good for him to be with people other than his parents. i'm sure he'll be stuck to us like glue tonight! (he's napping right now.)
