chocolate and wine pairing

i'll get to that in minute. i just learned that ultimate frisbee was invented in maplewood, nj in 1968. fascinating.

anyway, last night, swiss international chocolates supplied chocolate for a wine pairing / dinner at the hilton. i was invited to come along, so lewellyn and neneth watched julian for us. there were around 80 people in attendance, which was nice. even nicer, i knew quite a few people, so i feel good about that. what a nice community we have here! feels good to have familiar faces around.

everyone enjoyed the chocolate, and unfortunately, we were unable to stay for the dinner, as we didn't have enough chocolate for the dessert, so serge and i drove back to the factory to pick up more. we got back just in time for dessert. 

and what's even better - i saw my pilates teacher while i was there and talked about the fall - i'm going to be teaching some cardio dance classes and possibly tap dancing classes at the new gym that's going to open over the summer! how cool is that?
