dance party 2009

this morning, i saw julian sort of doing an arabesque, so i ran with it. i did one and he imitated me again. but then he was done with those tricks. i, however, was inspired to start dancing around the living room. 

i blasted some dance tunes from itunes and started dancing around, tootsie style. (tootsie is the most amazing dance teacher in NYC and i love love love her and her style. i miss it and have missed it ever since i moved out of the city. and congrats to her on her second son!) i look over at julian and he's imitating me! hilarious.

he's moving his arms around and spinning around. then, as i'm doing hip circles, he looks at me and points at his stomach, so i show him what to do, and he's there moving his hips in a little circle! 

so freaking cute! now i'll have a real workout buddy!
