the BAM realization

i just realized i threw "bam" into another post title and never really went into the why.

try not to jump out of your seat with excitement, but i experienced the wonder of "easy off BAM" today for the first time. i don't know if i've mentioned this before, but this apartment hasn't been properly maintained (or at least to my specs). this means on a general scale that there's a lot of crap in the tile grout. seeing as though the place is practically covered from floor to ceiling in tile, it really gets the neurotic side of me working overtime.

the worst offending room is our bathroom. i just get hives thinking about it. i finally moved into action and tried scrubbing the grout with a brush (which i broke) and baking soda. it was working okay, but involved too much manpower (translation: back pain from leaning and scrubbing in uncomfortable positions). i busted out the BAM and voila, no more hives. it's like a new bathroom! i just keep going back to look at it and marvel at it's cleanliness.

the moral of this story is obviously that i'm a loser with no life. but...a loser with clean tile grout.
