we saw samiklaus

we went on friday with ursula and the kids to the swiss christmas party in dubai. only lucky for us, this weekend we had record rainfall in the UAE. the party was held inside instead of out, so we didn't get to see santa arrive on camel.

julian had a good time, although not a fan of santa claus and his loud microphone. he did enjoy the all-you-can-eat lindt milk chocolate balls, peanuts and one 1 foot-long veal sausage and a 1/2 of a pork & emmentaler swiss sausage. add some helium balloons, cookies, ice cream and other children running around and it was a stellar day.

he also is now obsessed with the xmas tree and has to put the lights on whenever he is awake. he's got the holiday spirit, that's for sure.
