sandstorm coffee morning

yesterday i hosted a coffee morning/holiday bazaar at our house for the ladies of RAK. had 5 people here selling their wares - including pashminas, handmade greeting cards, handicrafts from iran, bath products from morocco, hand painted silk scarves and jewelry. met tons of new people and i think some of the women made a lot of sales.

during the sale, there was a wicked sandstorm which brought in bucket loads every time someone came in or went out. we had quite a mess.

finished off the afternoon helping my friend sara (she sells pashminas, jewelry, trinkets, etc.) with another sale on the other side of town and completed the evening with a girls' night out to see 'new moon'. a tiring, but good day.
