chillin' out

some people should not be in positions of power. the manager of the chill out dubai ice lounge is a moron who wrote in an e-mail that santa would be in their lounge until the 31st of december. i thought that was strange, but it's dubai, you never know. so we headed out there today and turns out santa had an emergency at the north pole and was only there until the 24th. (duh.) i should have listened to my instincts on that one instead of some idiot who probably has never heard of christmas before 2 weeks ago.

but, we decided to go anyway and had a blast. julian was so cute in the oversized coat and fur hat. it was freezing in there (it's basically a giant freezer), but we enjoyed our hot chocolate and the ice sculptures and watching julian figure out what the heck was going on.

and when we left, we asked him if he liked it. his answer, "it's cold." yes, it was.
