unibrows back in fashion?

we had to go to the emirati identity authority yesterday to get registered for our national ID cards (new system). it moved surprisingly fast (almost 2 hours). the funny thing is, one of the women who worked at the office was actively cultivating a unibrow. looked like she was growing it out to connect because of the way it was brushed or manicured or shaped or whatever you might want to call it. and she wasn't an old woman, probably in her late 20's or 30's.
