party time

have i really not posted in 8 days? not a ton to report - been hanging out with sara during the week. yesterday (friday), we had daniel's family over for lunch. that was fun. went to my friend rina's 40th b-day party. we had a great time. left julian at sara's and had a nice evening out.

the guys went home early to relieve the babysitter and then we girls stayed and danced the night away. we had a ball. and the best part is - it feels like i've been friends with these women for longer than i have. you know it's good when you click.

this morning we went to sharjah to the animal park. julian is obsessed with camels. saw the baboons, the cheetahs, etc. what a good time. then we went to the beach club in the afternoon, only the pool coolers must have malfunctioned because the pools were so warm i couldn't stand it. (but i hate hot tubs and warm water anyway.) 

and we learned that if we leave our apartment now, we lose all of our money. (usually, landlords here will allow you to break the lease with a penalty of a month or the security deposit because stuff usually does not sit vacant for long anyway.) not our landlord. we have to find a way!
