razz and i went to sara's in the afternoon to help make the decorations, which consisted of a flag banner using printouts from the internet. the only trouble is, her husband couldn't get well-known flags to copy and paste, so we had a huge ribbon banner of random sketchy country flags. sara was worried that by not knowing what they were, we would offend someone. my comment to her was, if anyone is going to be offended by something, it will be me, as i am going to the party dressed as pochahontas. or serge wearing a nets jersey sans t-shirt underneath. or julian, who minutes into the party, tore off his zippy surfer dude shirt and cruised around bare-chested as he stole the bowls of snacks off the tables.

axis of evil flags (and we had one - north korea! pointed out to us by a south korean!) just paled in comparison.
